2024 grant recipient

Didcot Powerhouse Fund Grant - Grant small and completed in June 2024

The grant was to be used to restart the Appleford Fete. 2024 was the first fete we had run since the covid lockdown and somehow covid had caused people to lose confidence. The grant gave us to confidence to get going and to book two bands for the event.

Impact achieved:

“It’s important to get the community together, and people recently arrived in the village got to meet their neighbours.”

 About 200 people came from the village plus others from neighbouring villages and the day was enjoyed by all.
